Syria is in a moment of danger and uncertainty, US President's statement on the situation in Syria

US President Joe Biden has said that the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria has finally come to an end.

Speaking at the White House, the US President said that he does not know where Bashar al-Assad is, but he has been heard to be in Moscow. Bashar al-Assad must be held accountable.

President Joe Biden said that he will work with Syrian groups to transfer power.

He said that he will support Syria's neighbors, will talk to regional leaders in the coming days and will also send US officials.

The US President has noted the statement of the leader of the rebel group, will review his words and actions, and it is a moment of danger and uncertainty in Syria.

It should be noted that the Assad family's more than fifty-year rule in Syria has ended. The rebels captured Damascus and took control of state TV, radio and the Ministry of Defense buildings.

The 24-year rule of President Bashar al-Assad collapsed in a week, after the news of Bashar al-Assad's death and disappearance, Russian sources claimed that Bashar al-Assad had arrived in Moscow.

According to Russian sources, Russia has granted political asylum to the ousted president along with his family.

On the other hand, people celebrated on the streets in Syria after the government forces left the area, while the presidential palace was also looted, after which the rebels imposed a curfew in Damascus.

Meanwhile, taking advantage of the uncertain situation in Syria, the Israeli army entered Syria and occupied the Golan Heights and deployed Israeli troops in the buffer zone. Israel also bombed various places in Syria.
